We are honored to welcome both Daniele Ricci from his eponymous winery and Tamara Podversic from Damijan for a joined wine dinner showcasing some of the most interesting wines Italy has to offer. Both are touring the U.S. with other Italian natural winemakers showcasing why natural wine is becoming a force to be reckon with. Theirs are some of the most memorable and thought provoking wines you will taste. If you are new to natural wines or if you are an aficionado already you should not miss this very special dinner.

Nestled in the town of Montalcino the vineyards of La Gerla lie right in the Montalcino hills. The late Sergio Rossi purchased the property in 1975 from the daughter of Tancredi Biondi-Santi. Since then they have given us some of the finest examples of the Sangiovese grape and with their Riserva degli Angeli they elevate the grape to new heights.

We have the honor of starting our first 2019 wine dinner welcoming Caprili Winery this upcoming Wednesday January the 16th to Donato Enoteca.
The Caprili Estate was founded by Alfo Bartolommei in 1965, his children Paolo, Manuele and Paola have personally nurtured the estate which continues to be one of the smaller scale producers that have established the enviable reputation of Montalcino.
The Caprili property comprises about 49 hectares, located in the south-west part of the Montalcino territory. It lies one kilometer away from the famous Pieve di Santa Restituta.
Join us and experience what classic Brunello is all about including some older vintages plus savor Donato's Tuscan fare thoughtfully paired with this spectacular wines.

It is no secret that we are one of Giacomo Fenocchio's biggest fans.
Claudio is not only one of the greatest Piemontese wine makers today but he is a very charismatic and welcoming soul.
Five generations of Fenocchios have been producing wine from their land in Monforte d’Alba since 1894. Claudio is a master at crafting classic Baroli that express the true essence of the Nebbiolo grape.
With prices that frankly do not come close to approximating the astronomical quality of the wines, it’s obvious that Fenocchio wines should be on all Barolo lovers radar.
And what better way to showcase Fenocchios wines than to pair them with Alba white truffles. Our menu will have the option of adding the prized "tartufi bianchi" to Donato's exquisite Piemontese cuisine.
