Cena con la fiorita
Fattoria La Fiorita was established in 1992 by Roberto Cipresso, one of the world's most influential winemakers. Cipresso originally made a name for himself in Montalcino as a wine consultant at Soldera, one of the most sought after and expensive brunello produced. He started La Fiorita with only 0.5 ha of vineyards and a small cellar in the basement of an 18th century building in the medieval town of Castelnuovo Abate.
Over time Cipresso purchased the prime regions for growing Sangiovese in Montalcino and increased the annual production of both the Brunello Normale and Riserva. In 2011 La Fiorita moved to a new cellar with state of the art equipment.
Donato has put together a Tuscan tasting menu for a small intimate dinner showcasing La Fiorita Brunelli going back more than a decade. The evening will kick off with a reception of Tuscan hors d'oeuvres and Billecart Salmon Champagne. If you like Brunello, this is a dinner not to be missed.
